A BIT ABOUT DR. YEAGER
Dr. Yeager has a Ph.D. in clinical psychology with a trauma focus. She specializes in the treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and complex trauma for a variety of traumatic experiences.
Dr. Yeager is a licensed psychologist and has a wide range of clinical experience that includes the PTSD clinic at the VA, the Veterans Health and Trauma Center, Diversus Health, Memorial hospital, and the Fort Carson Iron Horse Family Medicine Clinic. Prior to receiving her Ph.D., Dr. Yeager was involved in providing aftercare for human trafficking survivors. This experience created a passion for providing compassionate and effective trauma-informed services.

In addition to clinical work, she is involved in resilience research at the University of Colorado that focuses on evidence-based treatments for promoting resiliency and strength. Dr. Yeager uses this research to inform her clinical care.
Services
Dr. Yeager offers individual and group adult psychotherapy for trauma recovery. She takes a multi-disciplinary approach and considers the psychological, social, emotional, and spiritual aspects of an individual to provide holistic, personalized treatment.

Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is offered weekly or bi-weekly. Treatment seeks to foster resilient functioning using an individual’s strengths and values.
Group Therapy
Group therapy is offered two times/year. This is a closed group that focuses on managing emotions, improving relationships, tolerating distress, and becoming mindful of the present moment.
Assessment
Psychological and personality assessments are offered to provide insight into individual challenges.
Training
Dr. Yeager’s training includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), exposure therapies, mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Treatment is tailored to the individual based on their needs and strengths.
Dr. Yeager also has a M.S. in Computer Science and training in digital health interventions. She seeks to augment therapy with technology related interventions where appropriate.
